At least eight body parts and grim photos of meals prepared by suspected cannibals were discovered in a raid on an apartment in Krasnodar, Russian media reported.
Dmitry Bakshaev, 35, and his wife Natalia, 42, have confessed to the crimes, reports Russian media.
The couple was arrested after a mobile phone was found containing pictures of a man posing with human body parts including a human head being served on a dinner plate and decorated with oranges.
Other images show human remains in a jar and a man with a human hand sticking out his mouth.
Police are said to have uncovered further pictures while searching the property.
