Now to the nitty gritties. If you've been following Interbrand's valuation, you'll know that Toyota has been a top ranker on the global automobile brands list for a while. It ranks sixth on Interbrand's global best brands list, with brands like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Amazon and Samsung, ahead of it. Even though it has dropped a couple of notches on the list this year, it is still the most valuable automobile brand in the world, today, and not just according to Interbrand, but also market analysis firms like BrandZ and Millward Brown.

Close, but not close enough, are the brands Mercedes and BMW, the former having bumped up by a few thousand mils in the last one year and the latter by a few hundred. The exciting new entry on the list, however, is Ferrari that ranked 88 overall and surpassed Tesla in the fight to the 15 most valuable automobile brands, pegged at 14.

Toyota has been keeping marque automobile makers like Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, Mini and Tesla at several arms distance and for good reason. The Japanese multinational has provided satisfactory services to its client base, making it a popular choice to this day. So we suppose making bespoke automobiles or speed road rockets aren't everything, after all?

Did this motivate you to buy a brand new Toyota?
