Chichawatni pillion-riding arrests
Seven people were arrested Saturday night in Chichawatni for violating the ban placed on pillion-riding in light of Ashura processions in various cities of Pakistan, police sources revealed.
The security officials added that cases had been registered against the detainees.
Firing in Karachi
One person was left wounded in a random firing incident late last night in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Johar area, rescue officers stated.
The victim of the firing incident ? in Block 15 of Gulistan-e-Johar ? was subsequently moved to a nearby hospital, rescue sources said.
