LAHORE: Nusrat Ara Begum, famous for portraying Bil Batori?s character in the hit TV drama ?Ainak Wala Jinn? passed away in Lahore on Saturday.

She had been suffering from paralysis since a year, and was admitted to Lahore?s Jinnah Hospital after her condition worsened.

The last few years of her life were spent in poverty, as she struggled to find employment. 

She had revealed earlier this year that she was struggling to survive and needed treatment after a paralysis attack affected her leg.

After the news broke of her struggles, the Pakistan Baitul Mal pledged Rs 1 million for her treatment.

?Ainak Wala Jinn? was a famous show on Pakistan Television, which aired during the 90s.
