Bilawal terms recent political developments in Karachi a ?farce?
LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said in a tweet on Sunday that the recent political developments in Karachi are a farce, adding that the city deserves better.
He was referring to developments this week between the Pakistan Sarzameen Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan which announced a political alliance, then proceeded to hurl serious allegations against each other, including that the two were brought to the table by the 'establishment'.
Later, at a party meeting in Lahore, Bilawal reiterated PPP?s stance on the supremacy of democracy, law and constitution.
?We haven?t deserted [our] ideology nor will we change our thinking. There is no ambiguity about this is our party. We will not support any undemocratic move,? Bilawal said at a meeting with senior party leaders in Bilawal House, Lahore.
