RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met on Monday the Pakistan Army team which won the gold medal at the ?Exercise Cambrian Patrol? in UKย last month.ย 

A total of 131 teams participated in the event, held from October 13-22, known as one of the toughest patrolling tests for military personnel.ย 

Pakistan won the gold medal for the third consecutive time and the fourth time overall.

The COAS appreciated the team for its commendable performance.

Cambrian Patrol is a physically challenging and arduous exercise which concentrates on teamwork for achieving the mission.ย 

The team of eight men carrying up to 40 kilogrammesย of combat gear crosses some of the most unforgiving mountainous terrain in the mid-Wales, UK, amid tactical and technical challenges, testing leadership, self-discipline, courage and determination of participants, according to the Inter Services Public Relations.ย
