We all have seen the iPhone X and how it has changed, in terms of design. This is the first time Apple has restructured the design after four generations of iPhones and we kind of expect the same design to translate into other products. The iPhone X has a unique and beautiful edge-to-edge display and someone asked the same question as we did — how would the iPad look like with the same design?

Concept artist Martin Hajek gave the iPad the iPhone X treatment and in our opinion, it looks incredibly awesome. The iPad concept has the same bezel-less design and also has the same notch for the Face ID feature. 

“I present – the iPad X – same form factor as the iPad Pro 12.9″ but with a much bigger screen,” Hajek said. “Oh, and it also has a notch,” he adds, with sarcasm. “Sorry.”

If the next iPad adopts the same design language as the iPhone X, we aren't entirely sure whether it will be called “iPad X”. The design looks very appealing and would make sense that it used the same TrueDepth technology as the iPhone X. Previous iPads have taken inspiration from previous iPhones and adopted the same design ethos, and we can certainly expect Apple to do the same with the next generation of iPads.

Recent reports have pointed out that Apple will bring a design overhaul to the iPad lineup next year. Rumours suggest that the iPad X will ditch the “Home” button as well and would look very much like the iPhone X.
