

KUALA LAMPUR: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by the Duckworth Lewis method to reach the final of the under-19 Asia Cup.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bangladesh who scored 274/6 in the allotted 50 overs. For Bangladesh, Ghosh scored 82 runs while Saif Hasan scored 61 runs. A 52-run contribution to the score was made by Afif Hossain.
Munir Riaz was the pick of the Pakistani bowlers. He took p three wickets, while Hasan Khan, Suleman Shafaqat and Shaheen Afridi claimed one wicket each.
Due to the Duckworth Lewis method, Pakistan were set a revised target of 199 which the team achieved in 39 overs.
