
File PhotoKARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) took into custody four employees of theΒ National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for creating illegal identity cards during a raid Monday evening at the organisation's office in the city's Defence locale, it said.
The arrested NADRA employees were accused of making illegal Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) for foreigners based on fake information and certificates, FIA explained.
Following its raid, the Agency disclosed it had recovered from the mega centre illegal CNICs created for foreigners, fake certificates, as well as NADRA'sΒ records.
