KARACHI: The customs officials took into custody on Sunday two passengers carrying gold illegally ? which is said to be worth more than Rs100 million ? from the Jinnah International Airport,.
Deputy Collector Customs Wasif Malik said that three kilogram gold was recovered from the two passengers.
Duty is imposed on carrying gold in huge quantity but the two were carrying gold secretly, which is illegal, he said.
A case has been registered against the two passengers and investigation is underway against the suspects.
