KARACHI: The weather turned pleasant after parts of Karachi received light drizzle, early morning on Wednesday.

Several of those commuting early in the morning suffered skidding in their vehicles due to the slippery roads following the rain in various areas, according to rescue sources.

The Met office has forecasted the process of light drizzle could continue for next 24 hours, however, there is no chance of heavy rain in the metropolis.

Moreover, light showers with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, DI Khan, Sahiwal, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Weather is expected to remain dry in various areas of the country.
