At this point, 2017 just seems like a competition going on among politicians about who can make the most ridiculous comments. Actually, it's mostly Rahul Gandhi trying to make fun of PM Narendra Modi, but it backfiring on him, like when he mimicked Modi's 'Aloo to Sona' speech, and got trolled, and when he called GST 'Gabbar Singh Tax' and everyone came out with their own full forms.
And honestly, our dear Prime Minister doesn't even need to say anything to become a huge meme. Almost all of his pictures are meme-worthy, and people on Twitter never let go of that opportunity.
But, both of them should watch out now, they have some competition. Alpesh Thakor, the Congress's big import for the Gujarat election, suggested that 'mushrooms from Taiwan' were the secret of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'fair complexion'. He said, “Somebody told me that Modiji has imported mushrooms from Taiwan...Each mushroom costs â¹80,000 and PM Modi has five every day...I was told he has had them since he was Chief Minister.”

I can't decide what's better – his ridiculous comments or the fact that he's saying all of that with total seriousness. Alpesh, are you sure you're not taking mushrooms though, because you're tripping, tbh.

Or, maybe he's just trying to do some stand-up comedy, and in that case, totally spot on, man.
Whatever the case may be, people on Twitter are coming out with facts, and exposing Modi for using mushrooms to become fair. Not cool, man, not cool.
