According to locals, police conducted a search operation in Paharipura area of Peshawar during which officials attempted to enter and search the house of councillor Malik Shahnawaz.
This resulted in an altercation and tussle between the councillor?s supporters and police officials.
As a result, the locals, led by the councillor, protested outside the Paharipura Police Station.
