Yuzvendra Chahal's Tweet On Kedar Jadhav's Bowling Has Twitter In Splits

Gone were the days when the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja reigned supreme as India's premier spin duo. The present-day scenario shows the two experienced campaigners restricted to the longest format, with young guns like Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav emerging as the first-choice spinners in limited-overs cricket.

Bowling in tandem, Chahal and Yadav have done a commendable job in picking up crucial wickets and slowing down the run-rate in middle overs for India. Their exploits in the first ODI against South Africa, where Chahal took two wickets and Yadav claimed three scalps, once again proved pivotal as India romped to a six-wicket win.

Even in the ongoing 2nd ODI at Centurion, India's young spin duo accounted for eight South African wickets amongst them. But, while Yadav and Chahal have been effective in their application, another spinner - who might not be as conventional as them - has been quietly doing the job for his side.

Kedar Jadhav, known for his batting prowess, has been a key contributor for India with the ball. Jadhav's unorthodox bowling action can be hard to decipher, helping him run through his overs during crucial phases of a match. In the first ODI, while Chahal and Yadav ran away with all the plaudits, Jadhav once again played his part with a three-over spell, conceding 18 runs.

Rolled my arm over in our win against South Africa yesterday! I love bowling in the middle overs. Great spells from @yuzi_chahal & @imkuldeep18! And excellent knocks from @imVkohli and @ajinkyarahane88 to go 1-0 up.. Good start to the series! #SAvIND #TeamIndia #BleedBlue pic.twitter.com/SOoynLswXC

Following their win, Jadhav took to Twitter and highlighted his love for bowling in the middle overs. "Rolled my arm over in our win against South Africa yesterday! I love bowling in the middle overs. Great spells from @yuzi_chahal & @imkuldeep18! And excellent knocks from @imVkohli and @ajinkyarahane88 to go 1-0 up.. Good start to the series! #SAvIND #TeamIndia #BleedBlue." he tweeted.

Rolled your arm under not over Kedar bhaiyaaaa ð let's keep this momentum going #BleedBlue #SAvsIndia

Soon after Jadhav's tweet, Chahal fired in a quick reply before leaving everyone in spilts. "Rolled your arm under not over Kedar bhaiyaaaa. let's keep this momentum going #BleedBlue #SAvsIndia," Chahal tweeted.

And, it wasn't hard to imagine what happened next.

When I saw it on the TV, I had a small Qn. I do have the same Qn now.
