Today marks the day when Xiaomi revealed its first smartphone release of 2018 – the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5. The budget smartphone has been highly anticipated since the huge success of the Redmi Note 4 broke all records. Xiaomi announced two smartphones today i.e. the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Note 5. Here are the pricing details for the two devices in different configurations:
Redmi Note 5 Pro:4GB RAM/64GB Storage: INR 13,999
6GB RAM/64GB Storage: INR 16,999
Redmi Note 5:3GB/32GB: INR 9,999
4GB/64GB: INR 11,999
All variants for both smartphones will go on sale on XX February 2018 via Flipkart and Mi.xom
Both Redmi Note 5 Pro and Note 5 sport a premium metal body with anodised high-gloss aluminium lines and symmetric design.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro, is powered by Qualcomm's latest mid-range Snapdragon 636 chipset. It sports a dual camera setup with a 12MP + 5MP configuration and 20 MP front-facing camera. The smartphone can take portrait shots similar to Xiaomi's previous phone — Mi A1.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro will also have three different configurations when it comes to the memory and RAM setup. The smartphones will come with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, 4GB RAM/64GB Storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage.
The Redmi Note 5 in India, features the same Snapdragon 625 platform as the Redmi Note 4. The Note series by Xiaomi concentrates on long battery life and is equipped with a 4000mAh battery. The Redmi Note 5 comes in two memory configurations i.e. 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.

Both the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro sport a large 15.2cm (5.99) Full-screen display, featuring an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Both devices will be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue.
