Not so long ago, we spotted DQ (Dulquer Salmaan) in a volley of rather, impeccable suit moments. Exactly a year later, and as of today, he's starting to exude a hell lot of confidence in the menswear game. His baseline has been simple: he has his own unique way of getting dressed. Something, that he's obviously mastered over a period of time, and all while playing with Indian and western silhouettes alike. He may be the god of apparel-hybrids (his daily indulgence) first, but really — he knows how to turn up at events pretty damn well.

But that's like blowing his own trumpet without proof. For casual evidence, let's take a walk through his dope Instagram:

1. While you'd mistake this checked sight for a Nehru jacket at first, one bat of an eye-lid would suggest you otherwise. Sure, the behavioral pattern of the piece is pretty similar, but that's literally all. In ideology, it's just a casual jacket from 'The Maroon Suit'.

2. What are the sunnies and where do you cop them from — are questions that are going to go unanswered today. What we know, however, is that we all need them in our lives right away. Reflective, round-ish and suitable for almost every face type — this pair's a steal.

3. It takes a lot to understand your body proportions and what suits one well. But while Salmaan arrived upon this understanding ages ago, even today, his pinstriped shirt is a standing example of it. This pinstriped shirt is an excellent summer > winter piece. Besides, it's also adding a lot of height to his frame and making him appear slimmer (though, he doesn't need to at all).

4. Whether you stay by the beach or in the epicenter of the city, there's no one saving you from semi-formal occasions. Take a key from Dulquer anyway, who's well-fitted pair of trousers + a polka-dotted shirt is a great combo to have on hand. Hop a blazer on to adhere to boardroom ethics.

5. Suit with sneakers have been a part of conversations for a while now. But while most men opt for solid-colored T-shirts and crisp white kicks, Salmaan turns to graphic T-shirts in this situation. However, not the ordinary ones. This cat-in-an-LBD sight on his tee is hella cute, man.
