Elon Musk in a recent Tweet said he's building a cyborg dragon and we are as baffled as you are. Given Musk's history, it shouldn't be taken lightly as he actually may be working on something he claims to be working on.

In case you have forgotten, this is the same guy who made a flamethrower and managed to sell them out in a matter of days. He's also known as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX co-founder, but that doesn't stop him from making his dreams come true. So when he says he's building a cyborg dragon, we better believe it.

Now we don't know how big it will be or what it will be able to do, but for some reason, we're excited and confused at the same time. Sure, there is no need for a cyborg dragon that spits fire, but is there?

However, before you get too excited about a fire-breathing dragon, there is one thing that is named “Dragon” in all of Musk's companies. It's called the Dragon capsule and it is used to go back and forth to the International Space Station.

Sure this may not be as exciting as an actual cyborg fire breathing dragon, but that didn't stop Twitter users from having a field day. As expected, Game of Thrones jokes were bound to appear and here are some we thought were hilarious:

The ominous part is not "dragon" but "cyborg," since it implies there's an organic component to the whole enterprise. Will the billionaire put a pigeon inside his machine, or perhaps just some still-living part of a bird? The mind reels.

His tweet may be very bizarre and if Musk is actually building a cyborg dragon, we would love to have one to enact some of the Game of Thrones scenes. Nevertheless, we will know more once Musk gives us more information on this mysterious Dragon.
