The much awaited 'Miss India 2018' pageant concluded last night amidst much pomp and show, and the pretty 19-year-old Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu won the coveted crown.

She had previously won the 'Miss India Tamil Nadu' crown and is currently pursuing a degree in French from Loyola College.

Anukreethy has been modelling for a while and while she was studying to become a translator, her true passion lies in pursuing acting in the future.

Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana was the first runner up and Shreya Rao from Andhra Pradesh was the second runner up. The event also saw some stellar performances from Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
