Creative living spaces are almost always really cool and if they're unique and outrageous, then it gets so much better. 

A couple of months ago, we heard all about the guy who turned an old Boeing 727 into the coolest house ever.

Kinda similarly, a very unique and really cool living space has opened up in Maharashtra – it's a freaking shipping container hostel. Who would've ever thought to turn it into a place where people can actually live?

Actually, it keeps getting better; along with the concept, the location is also quite interesting. The hostel is perched upon a cliff in the beautiful hills of Panchgani, Maharashtra and it's designed so perfectly that every container has its own immersive view of the Krishna valley. Taking inspiration from the place around it, all the interiors reflect the hills and greens of Panchgani.

You know there are discussions and debates about traveller vs tourist? If you consider yourself a traveller, this could be the kind of place that you would stay just because of the fact that you can meet so many fellow travellers.

The entire hostel consists of a private container dorm, six-bed mixed container dorms, and six-bed female container dorms along with the basic amenities like laundry services, parking services, free Wi-Fi, hot water, and breakfast for visitors.

I have never been to Panchgani but it turns out that it's just a couple of hours away from both Mumbai and Pune, so it does seem like the perfect getaway spot. And tbh, if I ever go, I know where to stay just for the incredible view.
