Sonam Kapoor Misquoted The National Anthem andamp People On Twitter Corrected Her Brutally

Sonam Kapoor has never shied away from stating her opinion on controversial matters, and she almost always gets trolled for it. Addressing that in her recent column, she talked about trolling, but it backfired on her massively! In the column, she said, “Listen to the national anthem one more time. Recall the line you heard as kids, ‘Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Issai…’”

And I hope all of us know that these specific words never appear in our Nation Anthem. Obviously, people on Twitter jumped on the chance to remind her, and troll her even more. Also, on a side note, the irony is too much too handle. Sigh, Sonam, when will you learn?

Twiterrati was brutal.

Dear @AnilKapoor please enroll yourself in #BetiPadhaoBetiBachao campaign..

Earlier we had freedom of expression, now we have freedom of choosing our own national anthem, thanks Sonam Kapoor.

Like Sonam Kapoor, I also love that part of National Anthem where it says "Yeh Mera India, I love my India"

If I can remember correctly...Our national anthem also has a phrase like 'Ye Babu Bhaiyaa ka style hai'..Only Sonam Kapoor ji can confirm.

So right from my childhood I was singing the wrong National Anthem without 'Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, issai'.  Thank you Sonam Kapoor. pic.twitter.com/zAot0x9gwE
