Google Is Trolling Us With A Pixel Mini & We Can't Wait For Things To Go Official

The soon to launch Pixel 3 has been leaking for the past few months and now, we've reached a point where Google really just needs to reveal the pricing at the launch.

We pretty much know everything about the phone: CAD Renders, Specifications, Software tweaks, and anything else you can imagine.

Google has scheduled an event on October 9 and will be releasing the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel community lately has been buzzing with rumours that Google will unveil the Pixel Ultra.

Concept images of the phone reveal an edge-to-edge display with no chin. At the same time, there have also been rumours of a Pixel Mini and it is expected to sport a smaller display.

We've heard rumors of a mini Pixel. Which begs the question how “mini” is too mini? We have a feeling the next one will be a bit bigger than this. Tune in on 10/9 to see for yourself. #madebygoogle . . Doodle by Google hardware designer, @jac.bae.

To further troll or maybe even actually tease us, the Made by Google account on Instagram created an “Art Gallery” account to showcase shots from the Google Pixel and shared design mockups of a “tiny phone.” The shot is complete with physical models and a sketch of a device small enough to fit on a keychain.

A Reddit thread is trending right now where users are sharing their interpretation of the image. HSingh95 says,

"Okay, now they're DEFINITELY screwing with us. I think this is the first I've seen anything about a Pixel Mini. Something tells me we're getting more than 2 phones this year, but who knows what size? Also, that larger mockup definitely has 2 circles where the camera would be."

Given the fact that the Pixel 3 has been leaking way too often, even we are considering an event where Google releases not just two, but maybe three phones. And what if the phones they release are completely different than the leaks we've seen?

Google has definitely done a marvelous job of taking us for a ride, and the hype for the new Pixel devices is surely all-time high. For now, we know the Pixel 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and sport a single lens rear camera. The duo may also sport a rather deep notch that will house a dual front camera setup.
