PM Modi Dedicated UN's Champions Of The Earth Award To India's Collective Efforts & We're Proud
The current, dilapidated state of the environment across the globe is no recent news. Our planet has been struggling to keep up with human exploitation being meted out to it over the last two decades, and thus, the recent environmental upheaval and deterioration have forced the world to stop and acknowledge its wrong moves.

India has been steadily moving in the direction to revive our environment through small steps and seems like all the conscious efforts are slowly bearing results, and they have not escaped the knowledge of the United Nations, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi was just awarded UN's Champions of the Earth honour for India's efforts towards saving the environment.
The award was jointly presented to PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron for their pioneering work in championing the International Solar Alliance, under the Policy Leadership category.

After receiving the award, PM Modi hailed every Indian as an active participant in the road to change, because it was the collective effort that helped India in moving forward towards the direction of climate justice.
He said that farmers and indigenous communities in India are the real winners of this award, and that India is constantly trying to chart its way towards utilising smarter technology.

India and its leaders have set an example for the world to follow and we couldn't be more proud to have gotten this far.
However, it must be remembered that it is only the first of many such wins that we must aim to score. Environmental consciousness is still something that most Indians need to be sensitized about, to achieve the larger goal of a clean and healthy planet Earth.
