On Sunday, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their November wedding and while we were still recuperating from this news, another celebrity has confirmed his wedding in December this year. 

The celebrity in question is the ultimate 'King of Comedy', Kapil Sharma, who has lately been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Reportedly, comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to get married to his girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12 this year. The couple will tie the knot in Jalandhar and their wedding is expected to be a lavish one. 

The couple will host a grand reception in Mumbai on December 14.

Kapil told IANS, "We wanted to keep it low key. But Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wanted the wedding to be on a lavish scale. And I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also wants the wedding to be lavish."

Kapil further said that he wanted to share the news with his fans and media sooner, but he kept mum because he was promoting his Punjabi film 'Son Of Manjeet Singh'. This is said to his first film as a producer.

"For the past few weeks, I've been promoting my Punjabi film. I didn't want to talk about the wedding during the promotions, although the media repeatedly kept asking," he said.
