People Will Now Gather In CP To Shout 'Thain Thain' To Celebrate An Eco-Friendly Diwali
When two UP cops went on an encounter in Sambhal district, they did not just come back with the criminals, they gave the internet a meme-orable term that people won't forget anytime soon.Β
We're talking about the iconic 'Thain Thain' that a cop shouted out as a last resort, when the pistol got jammed during an operation to catch the goons.Β Β
#WATCH: Police personnel shouts 'thain thain' to scare criminals during an encounter in Sambhal after his revolver got jammed. ASP says, 'words like 'maaro & ghero' are said to create mental pressure on criminals. Cartridges being stuck in revolver is a technical fault'. (12.10) pic.twitter.com/NKyEnPZukh
β ANI UP (@ANINewsUP) October 13, 2018The cop's 'presence of mind' gave him fame and a bravery award recommendation, while also giving the internet a string of hilarious memes. It also gave a YouTuber an idea to replace the word with the gun sounds in 'Counter-Strike'. But most importantly, it gave a bunch of genius people an idea to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly way.Β
We're not even close to joking when we say that a group of people are planning to gather in Connaught Place, just to shout 'Thain Thain' to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali. The event is being hosted by 'The Wander Bottle'.Β
Facebook
The event page says, "We request you all to mark your presence in Central Park at 5 pm and shout "Thain, Thain" to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali."
Honestly, I don't know what's crazier, the fact that there's a legit event page on Facebook or the fact that I am actually contemplating going there to shout 'thain thain'.Β
