Kartik Aaryan has been defining fashion goals for a long time now, ever since his foray into Bollywood. In fact, it wouldn't be wrong to term him the unofficial youth icon when it comes to fashion. 

He just proved it right yet again, when he stepped out wearing an insane snakeskin velvet jacket in electric blue from Route Des Garden.

Usually, snakeskin designs are associated with the natural snake colours, ranging from black to brown (maybe green, if a designer is really gutsy). However, Kartik's electric blue shade along with the snake scale pattern is working wonders, and is complimenting the edgy construction of the piece.

We love the zipper details on the velvet along with the retro collar lapels. The fact that Kartik has decided to keep the rest of the outfit extremely basic by keeping it all black, shows that this is about as statement as a piece can get, and you don't need much to amp up your #OOTD if you have this piece handy.

Clearly, stylists Priyanka and Kazim are on top of their game, and Kartik is a fabulous canvas, as he always has been. All we can say is that we need that jacket NOW.
