Comprising of three brothers, David on guitar/vocals, Romeo on bass/vocals and Gideon on drums/vocals, Dossers Urge is a rock band from Shillong. Formed in 2011, every member’s sheer respect and love for music unites them. The nostalgic vibe of their music with powerful live performances is a great combination and they are loved by the audience.

Getting their start by playing various gigs around North East India, they have come a long way. Having performed at many prestigious music festivals, Dossers Urge have built up quite a following.

It’s hard to confine their music to one specific genre as they like to keep it fresh with a mix of blues, pop, psychedelic and sometimes even punk. They started off by covering songs from bands like Green Day and Blink-182 and moved on to release singles of their own. 

In 2013, they came out with their first self-titled EP comprising of five tracks. The EP was a way for them to properly introduce themselves to the music industry at large. Packed with amazing music, the EP helped them get more attention and establish themselves as a band to watch out for.

They recently won the Road to Converse Rubber Tracks by delivering an electric performance and got the opportunity to go to the US to record their music in Brooklyn. This was one of the biggest turning points in the band’s career, and by the looks of it, they are here to stay.
