A Pakistani Pilot Slept For 2 Hours On A Flight And Left The Plane To A Trainee To Fly

How would you react if you got to know that the pilot of your flight is taking a nap and the plane is being flown by a trainee? As unbelievable as it sounds, it actually happened on a Pakistan International Airlines flight. A senior pilot on a Islamabad-London flight decided to take a nap right after departure, and gave the plane to a trainee pilot to fly.

Hashmi was flying with trainee Mohammad Asad Ali, and was expected to train him during the flight. But instead of training him, he left the entire plane in his hands and went to sleep.Β

The incident has sparked an outrage on Twitter and people are calling out to the airlines for this gross carelessness and violation of rules.
