A 24-Year-Oldandamprsquos Guide To Dressing In Denim For A Delhi Party

Masters student, footballer and 24-year-old jet-setter, Pranav Sharma can be quintessentially Delhi when it comes to his sartorial outings. Think fresh white sneakers, loafers for days and a...umm...strong love for logo belts. Kidding! What we mean by a quintessential Delhi sense of style is the idea of a look is well put together and polished. Because why not? So, how does one achieve this style? As part of Pranav’s, 30 days of denim challenge, we break down the important rules one needs to know while dressing up for a true-blue Delhi party. Hint: No chappals allowed!

Everyone should own a dress shirt that fits right around the shoulders. A tad too tight and you’ll end up looking like a dumb muscle Marv (sorry)

If you are not a huge buttondown fan, opt for a classic white T-shirt. The fit here should be relaxed and not something that is two-sizes-too-small. Bulging muscles look good only under the moody lighting of a five-star gym.

Love all kinds of jeans—rip-and-repaired, distressed jeans or washed.

Make sure the fit of the jeans is slim to tapered, and not skinny. No one wants to look like they are wearing leggings.

Don’t let your girlfriend or your mom dress you.

Or, your jealous best friend. JK!

If you are looking to nail the Delhi Boy style, your sneakers need to be a white-AF

And if you are not into white kicks, opt for an off-beat colour like this military green number from Adidas originals.

Never neglect a good pair of quirky socks!

And lastly, never, and we mean never ever empty the bottle of perfume on just one outing. Just trust us on this one!

Denim For Indian Men: Why Skinny Jeans Are Officially Dead

Bonus: It features 30 really cool men, all with very distinct style sensibilities, but primarily, each having an innate love for all things denim.
