Dangal Touched $300 Million andamp Is Now The 5th Highest-Grossing Non-English Movie In History

Seems like Aamir ‘perfectionist’ Khan has lived up to his name and even carved a niche in B-town history. The stellar hit ‘Dangal’ which is currently minting accolades and money at the box offices in China has done the unexpected.

‘Dangal’ has hit the $300 million mark and has created history. It is now the 5th highest grossing non-English movie, EVER!

The list of highest-grossing non-English movies include ‘The Mermaid’ ($553 million), ‘The Intouchables’ ($427 million), ‘Monster Hunt’ ($386 million),  and ‘Your Name’ ($354 million). ‘Dangal’ is the only Indian movie that exceeded the $100 million mark in oversees revenue and is also a contributor to the biggest single pay-day for an Indian actor ever. Aamir Khan and the entire cast worked extremely hard on transforming their bodies and preparing for their hard roles.

The movie is literally creating a ‘dangal’ out there and our nation is beyond being proud.
