Truth really is stranger than fiction. Last month, a video showing a riderless bike running across a French highway left people baffled. While many assumed it were supernatural forces coming into play, others scratched their heads to solve the mystery of the riderless bike. The video posted by the French newspaper Le Parisien instantly went viral and garnered over a million views. But the mystery still remained unsolved

And now finally, light has been shed on the mystery and the driver of the ‘ghost' motorcycle has surfaced. The rider was apparently thrown off the bike in an accident involving another car while the bike kept on going. He was rushed to hospital but his bike was in no mood to stop and dragged for a few metres on the highway. 

Considering it's all about balance, we are not even surprised that the bike could run that long without a biker.
