Thanks to the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, dating, which was already a hard game to navigate, has become much harder now, what with texting, DMs and memes replacing actual dates, conversations and connections.

You see, there was a time when if you couldn’t be your best self over a text or twenty to a woman, you’d still have a chance to redeem yourself in person. But now, with scepticism coming in place of romanticism, Whatsapp and Instagram are a single man’s only battleground.

Which is why, a little whisper in the ear about how to win a woman over through texts by knowing just how to drop a compliment to her is enough to get your train back on the track.
Here are a few tips that could come in handy the next time you’re struggling with giving your crush a compliment and making her day:
    1. Compliment Her Only After You Two Have Been Acquainted © iStock
Women generally don’t acknowledge compliments from total strangers and so, your best bet to make your compliment count would be to first get acquainted enough with her.

Initiate a conversation, introduce yourself and then when you two would have had a conversation, then consider praising her for something you like about her.
    2. Be Original & Avoid Cheesy Pick-Up Lines

As much as guys are told that pick-up lines work like a charm, they don’t.
Even the craziest and unheard ones end up making a woman cringe because it makes her feel that you are not being genuine about your compliment.
Steer clear of them and try to tell her something you honestly like about her.
    3. Talk About Her Personality Instead Of Her Appearance
    via GIPHY
A woman, any woman for that matter, would probably have been complimented for her looks way more often than anything else. Which is why, every time a guy praises her for her looks again, it makes her feel like you're reducing her just to her appearance.
Try to compliment her on one of her qualities or personality traits instead, it would hold much more importance to her.
    4. Appreciate Her For Her Latest Achievement
    via GIPHY
Another great way to compliment a woman you’re talking to is by actually praising her for something good she’s done or she’s achieved in the recent past.
Nothing feels sweeter than to be recognised for your hard work and it definitely ends up making you look like you pay attention.
    5. Tell Her How & Why She’s Been On Your Mind
    via GIPHY
The best compliment you could give to anyone is to let them know just how good their presence makes you feel.
If you feel like the person holds a special place in your life, tell them that. Mention how they’re often on your mind and you might just be making her feel the most flattered she’s been.

Let's admit it! While we work our as*** off in mostly 9-5 jobs, one thing that continues to intrigue us is the salaries or earnings of renowned celebrities who have lavish lifestyles. Be it Bollywood actors, musicians, and other celebrities, we often wonder how much they earn in a span of a year, with Google always suggesting the word 'Net Worth' after every personality that we search online.
Now, if you've often done that, you would definitely be curious about finding what the Prime Minister of our country actually earns.

As things turn out, PM Narendra Modi has quite a net worth due to his earnings from leading our country in the last seven years and over the rest of his career.

Well, according to the official data released as per his latest declaration, PM Modi's net worth is somewhere around Rs 3.07 crore. It saw a jump of almost Rs 22 lakh from last year which was around Rs 2.85 crore.
The 71-year-old prime minister actually does not possess any stock market exposure, with his investments being in the form of mostly the National Savings Certificate ( Rs 8.9 lakh), life insurance policies ( Rs1.5 lakh), and L&T infrastructure bonds, which he bought for Rs 20,000 back in 2012. As per reports, the increase in his wealth comes down mainly to his fixed deposits in a Gandhinagar branch of SBI.
PM Modi's self-declaration filed showed that his fixed deposit amounted to Rs 1.86 crores this year, as compared to rupees 1.6 crores last year.
PM Modi owns around four gold rings worth Rs 1.48 lakh, with his bank balance and cash in hand, amounting to Rs 1.5 lakh, and Rs 36,000 as of March 31 of this year. Since the prime minister came into power back in 2014, he has not bought any property with his only residential property being the one he bought in 2002, valued at Rs 1.1 crore.
That too is said to be a joint property in which PM Modi is said to have a one-fourth share in. The property is reported to be around 14,125 square feet with Modi's rights being over 3,531 square feet of it.

Sneha Dubey is a name that has recently been doing the rounds on the internet, and for all the right reasons. Well, to give you a background, we all know how there is so much friction between geographical neighbors and arch-rivals India and Pakistan due to a whole lot of issues.
There are barely any instances when the two nations don't clash with each other at international events, and this time around, it was the same. As things happened, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, like always did not have very nice things to say about India. However, India too, had a befitting reply at hand, and this time through, its First Secretary at UN, Sneha Dubey.

Khan, had in a pre-recorded address, described Islamophobia as a 'pernicious phenomenon' and had said that 'the worst and most pervasive form' of Islamophobia 'now rules India'. Well, that is certainly not a very nice thing to say, but wait, there's more.

He also said that the Indian government is currently propagating its 'Hindutva ideology' while unleashing 'a reign of fear and violence' against Indian Muslims. Not long after that, India obviously didn't keep quiet with first secretary Sneha Dubey tearing into the Pakistan PM.

She said, “This is the country that is an arsonist disguising itself as a firefighter. Pakistan nurtures terrorists in their backyard in the hope that they will only harm their neighbours. Our region and the entire world, has suffered because of their policies. On the other hand, they are trying to cover up sectarian violence in their country as an act of terrorism."

    — Shiv Aroor (@ShivAroor) September 25, 2021
It was followed by a statement issued by India, which said, "Sneha Dubey has rightly exposed Pakistan. Pakistan's ties with terrorism are not new to anyone. As a nation they support them. Osama bin Laden was shielded by the country and given home. They treat him like a martyr. India supports Sneha Dubey."
What shall we call her now? India's Wonder Woman! We sure can, because that reply was damn awesome!
For those of you who don't know, Sneha is a 2012 batch IFS officer who cleared UPSC exam in the first attempt, and since then has been working her way up the ladder. Soon after her speech at the United Nations Assembly, people took to Twitter to share their admiration for her.
    Here is what they said:
She spoke strongly and beautifully. Though same statements are made before as well, seems like pakistan is yet to learn from it.
    — Anirban Chatterjee (@Anirban3009) September 25, 2021There you go!! Keep it up, every one knows the true face of Pakistan and we have to keep the pressure up at globally along with focusing on our development story..
    — Ankit (@_a_n_k_i_t) September 25, 2021Isn't she brilliant. I am impressed. So happy to see young guns do so well.
    — Krushna (@govindagopala) September 25, 2021look at Sneha's facial expressions.. as she wants to slap Imran Khan ki mere samne jyada bak bak na kiya karo
    — Pranshu Pandey (@pdia0) September 25, 2021Kudos to Sneha Dubey!
Should have added: India reserves the right to pre-emptively strike against terrorist camps in Pakistan to safeguard its citizens.
India also reserves the right to take back any illegally occupied territory by any means at the time of its choosing.
    — Vish (@vishy_g) September 25, 2021Well done Sneha Dubey, that was brutal
    — Prashant Sankeshwar (@prashant_1978) September 25, 2021 Looks like Sneha does have a huge fan base now. And she deserves every bit of recognition for it as well. Kudos to her!

In recent times, there has often been news of celebrities and other wealthy personalities getting caught up in money laundering cases. Well, this time around it is one of Bollywood's most popular actresses, Jacqueline Fernandez.

    — mannainfinitysoul (@mannainfinitys1) September 25, 2021
As things stand, this is not the first time that Jacqueline is being questioned in the cheating case with the central probe agency interrogating her earlier as well.

The conman Chandrasekar has been accused of cheating the family of former promoters of Ranbaxy, Shivinder Singh, and Malvinder Singh, to the amounts of Rs 200 crore. As per reports, it is suggested that Chandrasekar went after Jacqueline through his wife Leena Paul.
Chandrasekhar has been a renowned criminal due to his history of cheating and got into it at a young age. The Enforcement Directorate issued an official statement following a raid conducted by them last week. "Sukesh Chandrasekhar is the mastermind of this fraud. He has been a part of the crime world since the age of 17. He has multiple FIRs against him and is presently lodged at the Rohini jail," it read.
As per the evidence found and investigated in the case, the agency has called Jacqueline for the second time following her questioning session last month that lasted for a period of five hours. According to sources speaking NDTV, Chandrasekhar got in constant touch with Jacqueline through calls and messages, with the agency now wanting to probe the actor related to the cheating scandal.
Last month, the agency had said that it had seized a sea-facing bungalow in Chennai, cash money around 82.5 lakh rupees along with a dozen luxurious cars in connection with the money laundering case against the accused conman. The cheating case has been based on Delhi Police's FIR against Chandrasekhar over alleged criminal conspiracy, cheating, and extortion to the insane amount of Rs 200 crore.
Now, we don't know what's in store for Jacqueline next but this sure is negative PR for her anyway.

The 36-year-old actress was last seen in Bhoot Police alongside Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam.

Shows like Delhi Crime, Sacred Games, and Mirzapur, and a whole lot of others have given India a global name in terms of visual content, and well, there are a whole lot of good series that have become very popular amongst people.

One such show is the TVF produced Kota Factory whose season 1 really made quite an impact with cinephiles in general.

The show directed by Raghav Subbu, had a stellar cast of Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Ahsaas Channa, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, and Urvi Singh. With the show revolving around the town of Kota, displaying the lives of students preparing for competitive examinations through coaching, it certainly was a very relatable thing for most viewers who also have gone through the same process.

Now, after the success of the first season, the show is back with season 2, which takes off from where it left off as Vaibhav, one of the leading characters, embarks on his journey to Maheshwari, one of Kota's leading training institutes. Again, the emphasis will be on how along with Jeetu Bhaiya, Vaibhav will try to balance the pressures of getting into IIT, while maintaining friendships and relationships with his mentor.
Soon after the release of the second season, viewers got onto Twitter to share what they felt about the show, and the reactions were really positive.
Let's take a look at some.
