Imagine you're out there diving in the sea, observing all the colorful fish and corals, and suddenly a 14 meter-long, 30,000-kilogram weighing whale thinks you're dinner?

    Scary, right?

Well, your wildest nightmare was someone's reality just recently.
In a bizarre incident that shook our faith in childhood movies like the Free Willy series, a diver was swallowed whole by a humpback whale in  Cape Cod, Massachusetts, United States.

Michael Packard, a 56-year-old lobster diver almost thought he was toast after a humpback whale swallowed him while he was diving.

However, luckily for Packard, he lived to tell the tale after the large mammal spat him back out in the sea after a period of what, 40 seconds. (Yikes!!)

Sharing his story on a Facebook page called Provincetown Community Space, Packard, officially one of the luckiest men on Earth, said, “Hi everyone, I just want to clarify what happened to me today. I was lobster diving and a humpback whale tried to eat me. I was in his closed mouth for about 30 to 40 seconds before he rose to the surface and spit me out. I am very bruised up but have no broken bones. I want to thank the Provincetown rescue squad for their caring and help,”

Packard had been admitted to the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis for the injuries he sustained in the aftermath of the incident. Describing the horrible encounter after he was released from the hospital, he said,
“All of a sudden, I felt this huge shove, and the next thing I knew it was completely black,”
“I could sense I was moving, and I could feel the whale squeezing with the muscles in his mouth.”
“I was completely inside; it was completely black. I thought to myself, ‘there’s no way I’m getting out of here. I’m done, I’m dead.’ All I could think of was my boys — they’re 12 and 15 years old.” he told Cape Cod Times.

Ahead of the World Test Championship final and the Indian team management are faced with a serious conundrum, whether to go with four front-line seamers and take a chance on their batting or include two spinners in the playing XI, allowing greater depth in the lower order.
As per a report in The Telegraph, the team management is keen on playing pacer Mohammed Siraj and if that’s the case all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja could lose on to his place in Kohli’s starting XI.

“The balance is slightly tilted in favour of Siraj but his inclusion will mean Ravindra Jadeja will have to miss out,” The Telegraph reported.
Jadeja, who missed India’s last Test series against England at home with an injury, is making a comeback in the side, whereas Siraj hasn’t turned a foot wrong in whatever limited opportunities he has got.

In the absence of senior fast bowlers, Mohammed Siraj took up the mantle and performed like a true champion, which included a five-wicket haul in the fourth and final Test, as India recorded a historic series win Down Under earlier this year.
Jadeja, who has been part of the India’s Test squad for several years now, has experience on his side while Siraj’s ability to exploit the English conditions makes him a perfect candidate to start the game.

Who gets picked and who gets dropped? The answer to this raging debate will only be available once the match begins on June 18 but till then there is no stopping the Indian cricket fans from making a case for their favourite players.
Being the senior pro, the majority of the support was for Jadeja, with his fans arguing that it’s a disaster in waiting if team management decides to drop someone of his calibre who can impact the game in all three departments -- be it batting, bowling or fielding. While those rooting for Siraj reminded everyone that to win a Test match, it’s important to pick 20 wickets and given the conditions on offer, Siraj can come in handy like he did in Australia.
I seriously don't understand why Siraj is being laid so much focus upon. I mean I know he performed extremely well in the chances he got in Aus but that doesn't mean you replace someone who has performed so well all throughout the WTC. In a Final, you should go with experience.
    — Advaitya Chandhoke (@AdvaityaC) June 12, 2021I don't think Virat will go forward without Jadeja. Newzealand has a strong batting depth. They really need to include Jadeja in. Otherwise it would be a loss for India
    — Maze//MS Dhoni//Suresh Raina (@mazeftw7) June 12, 2021🤦🤦 mujhe laga ye log waha jeetne ke liye gaye.. per ye log toh harne ki poori preparation kar rahe hai.. India, get ready for another heartbreak
    — Srushti P (@srushtibp) June 12, 2021Its impossible to bench Sir Jadeja now. He is literally the best player we have and contributes in every department at his best.

Name the source first before spreading such news
    — Rudransh Pathak🇮🇳(Account Limited) (@RudranshPathak7) June 12, 2021Are they mad or what? missing out Jaddu as a package just to plug in Siraj?? If they have to play him play in place of Ishant...none of Shami or Jaddu can be scalped...damn!
    — Shantanu Ghosh (@imshantanu105) June 12, 2021Jaddu isn't playing
    Siraj will play
    — Siva Swarna (@SivaSwarna3) June 12, 2021Take siraj instead of ishanth. Ishanth has been ineffective with the ball of late
    — Prasad Gattu (@gprasad421) June 12, 2021Abe Siraj hai ya McGrath Jaddu ko drop krenge 🤦🏻‍♂️...More dependable than Kohli in team rn and they wanna drop him
    — Vaibhav Mukhija (@Vaibhavvvvv45) June 12, 2021It's the first match in English condition...why on earth you'll make your batting weak🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Our 3 Pacers Bumrah,Ishant n Shami (or Siraj I don't mind) are more than enough https://t.co/3kuse09AS4
    — #GillOP (@EternalBlizard_) June 12, 2021It will be the worst decision ever if happens but my knowledge says Jadeja and Ashwin both will definitely play, There will be a choice between Ishant And Siraj..
    — CricTwig (@crictwig) June 12, 2021 One thing is for sure, Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri are going to keep their cards close to their chest as long as possible and the final decision on the team combination will be made only after looking at the surface and whoever gets the nod will give his all to make India the first-ever world champions in the longest format.

Vidya Balan is one actor who is known to lead the charge of portraying strong characters in female-centric Bollywood films.

Such has been her credibility that, the 42-year-old actress has bagged a large collection of awards that include one National Film Award, 6 Filmfare Awards, 6 Screen Awards, 4 International Indian Film Academy Awards, and several others.

In order to thrive in an industry where survival is considered to be so difficult, one really needs to have a lot of character, which the actress surely has in plenty.
However, despite her tremendous amount of success, the actress has still been subjected to gender bias.

Opening up upon the incident that happened over dinner, the Kahaani and Dirty Picture actor revealed how she was once interrogated on her cooking skills.

“I remember people telling me over a dinner that ‘Oh my god, you don’t know how to cook’." said Vidya, while speaking to Times Now Digital.
The actress in her reply said,
‘No, both Sidharth (Roy Kapur) and I don’t know how to cook’,”

However, Vidya explained how the person then told her that she ‘should know how to cook’.

“I wanted to say, why should it be any different for Sidharth and me?” said Vidya.
The actor also went on to explain how when she was younger, even her mother would ask her to learn to cook, to which she would reply that she'd rather hire a cook or marry a man who can cook.

Vidya, whose latest film Sherni is set to release on OTT giant Amazon Prime on June 18, said that while everyone faced gender bias, it is definitely more in the case of women. “It is sharper when it comes to women,” said Vidya.

Ever since making a comeback after an injury that saw him miss out on nearly an year of international cricket, Hardik Pandya is yet to hit the ground running. Barring the T20I series against Australia last year, where he took home the Player of the Series trophy, the hard-hitting all-rounder has blown hot and cold and was even left out of India’s Test squad for England tour.
Hardik’s poor run of form continued in the first-half of the Indian Premier League where he didn’t bowl a single ball for defending champions Mumbai Indians and could only score 52 runs in seven outings. Known for his lusty blows, Hadik could clear the ropes only twice.

His recent struggles have pushed him down in all-rounders’ pecking order, at least in Test cricket, especially since the emergence of Washington Sundar and Sahrdul Thakur besides a seasoned campaigner like Ravindra Jadeja.
After losing his place in the Test squad, things are not looking bright for the all-rounder but he says that his only focus, at the moment, is at attaining full fitness for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
NEWS : The All-India Senior Selection Committee picked the Indian squad for the 3-match ODI series & the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka in July. #TeamIndia

    Details https://t.co/b8kffqa6DR pic.twitter.com/GPGKYLMpMS
    — BCCI (@BCCI) June 10, 2021 “For me, I want to make sure, and I will be able to, that I bowl in all the games of the (T20) World Cup. I am just trying to be smart and make sure that I don't miss that. My full focus is on the World Cup,” Hardik said on ‘TOI Sportscast which will be aired soon.
Every Indian fan, who follows cricket diligently, knows that the biggest question mark over Hardik is about his bowling. Given India’s bench strength, it is hard to imagine how he can break into the playing XI without excelling at both the skills. Even the all-rounder is aware of his condition and claims that despite surgery he hasn’t lost his pace and as far as his bowling is concerned it is directly proportional to his  fitness.
    View this post on Instagram
“Yes, on the bowling front, what matters is how fit I am. Even after my surgery, I didn't drop my pace. My bowling is related to my fitness. The fitter I get, the better it comes out. Whenever I play, I don't want to play at 50%. (When) I play, I will play at 100%,” he added.
Despite Hardik’s optimism, Indian fans have their doubts about the all-rounder’s claims of playing the T20 World Cup, with many arguing that Hardik was being overconfident and the only way he can make a comeback in the playing XI is if he starts bowling once again.
This guy gets way too much credit and unnecessary importance for someone who hasn’t done much and is always injured. We have enough bench strength not to worry about this dude.
    — VisN (@drvnanduri) June 12, 2021Meanwhile hardik at world cup:- I will bowl from 2022 IPL..My focus now is batting
    — Prana (@Prana30060168) June 12, 2021Overrated player. People would do so many things to bowl/bat for INDIAN TEAM.🇮🇳
And he shows this much of attitude.
    — mantisshr (@mantisshr) June 12, 2021Without bowling hardik will not be able to make into playing 11.
    — sudhir more 🇮🇳 (@moresud) June 12, 2021He must be talking about 2027 wc
    — Bharat Chauhan (@BharatC21085526) June 12, 2021He is being extra smart. He should focus on his bowling for all matches. His place is not confirmed for T20 world cup as of now
    — Yogesh Jain (@YogeshJ78695862) June 12, 2021He has to bowl otherwise he is useless resource in team.
