    ‘O huzoor, Tera tera tera suroor, Meri baaten meri yaaden tanha raaten, Tera tera tera suroor’ 
    Do you remember this popular track Aap Ka Sarroor by Himesh Reshammiya? If yes, then there is good news that the singer-composer is reviving the old song and has shared the teaser of his new album, Surroor 21. Well, the teaser will definitely take you back to his old songs such as Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Sanam Teri Kasam, Tere Naam, Aap Kaa Surroor, Aksar, and more. Sharing the teaser, he wrote, "Surroor 2021 the album teaser promotion poster.”

    When the singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya made his debut as a singer in 2006, he was at the receiving end of a lot of flak for his nasal voice. It seems like perceptions have changed over time. Despite all the backlash he received, all the songs crooned by him are still very much popular.

    In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, he admitted that he was bothered by the criticism, despite churning out one chartbuster after the other.
    He had said, “It cannot be that you become a superstar, you are getting all the attention and people don’t react if they don’t like something about you. They will react and you have to take it positively. That’s the only way… But of course, we are humans. Celebrities do get affected. In 2006, when they called me nasal… Every song of mine was a blockbuster, I had 50 blockbusters… I just got a little angry.”
    On the work front, Himesh is currently a judge on the singing reality TV show 'Indian Idol 12' along with Neha Kakkar and Anu Malik, who had replaced Vishal Dhadlani on the show.

    Television actor Pearl V Puri has been trending for all the wrong reasons as he has been accused of raping a minor on the sets. Many from the industry came to support the actor and claimed that he is the most gentle person in the industry and can’t do such a heinous crime.

    It was after Ekta Kapoor’s Instagram post that celebs came forward to raise their voices in support of the Naagin actor. Ekta has called it 'absolute low in human depravity'.
    Ekta shared a photo with Pearl and said that the survivor's mother told her that Pearl was innocent. "Will I support a child molester…or a molester of any kind? But what I witnessed from last night to now, was the absolute low in human depravity. How can humanity go to this level? How can people who are upset with each other, drag a third person into their own fight? How can a human being take on another human being and do this? After various calls with the child‘s/girl’s mother, who openly said that Pearl was not involved and it’s her husband trying to create stories to keep her child and prove that a working mother on a set cannot take care of her kid," she said.

    “If this is true then it is wrong on so many levels! Using an extremely important movement like ‘Me Too’ frivolously, to get your own agendas met with and mentally torturing a child and making an innocent person guilty. I have no right to decide, the courts will decide who is right & wrong. My opinion only comes from what the girl’s mother said to me last night & that is - Pearl is innocent …and it is very very sad if people are using various tactics to prove working mothers are unable to take care of their children because there are predators on the set," she added.
    People on Twitter are offended by Ekta’s stand on the whole issue and are bashing for manipulating the case. They said that she is supporting the actor because the incident happened on her sets. They also are slamming the artists who blindly followed Ekta and have been tweeting almost the same thing in support of Pearl but they should have waited for the truth to come out.

    A Delhi government-run hospital, GB Pant, on Saturday prohibited its nursing staff from speaking in Malayalam on the premises of the medical facility, as reported in The Hindu. The memo was circulated and it stated that if nurses continue to speak Malayalam in the work premises, there will be dire consequences.
    The memo read as “A complaint has been received regarding Malayalam language being used for communication in working places in GIPMER. Whereas maximum patients and colleagues do not know this language and feel helpless causing a lot of inconveniences. So it is directed all nursing personnel to use only Hindi and English for communication. Otherwise, serious action will be taken.”

    The nurses at the hospital had a different story to tell and they criticized this move as they only talk to Malayalam only with people who can understand it. “ We only talk to other people from Kerala in Malayalam at the hospital. It is our mother tongue. How can they say the staff cannot talk in Malayalam? Will they tell Punjabis not to talk in Punjabi among themselves?,” said Jeemol Shaji, a nurse from Kerala, who is the general secretary of the nurses’ union in Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital.

    This has created a situation of unrest on social media and people have been attacking the government. They are not okay with the Hindi imposition and also added that so many nurses are from Kerala and how we can afford to lose them. Many famous personalities like Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, and many other commoners have raised their voices.

    The order has now been revoked as many leaders and famous personalities criticized it. A Times Now Journalist shared on Twitter, “The controversial order asking nurses not to communicate in Malayalam stands revoked. A memo being issued to the MS asking how was this order passed. This has happened after widespread condemnation.”

    Soon after the release of Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni’s The Family Man 2's trailer, the web series landed in trouble as it ended up upsetting a certain section of people who felt that the show is trying to portray Tamil people  in a negative light. For those who haven’t been following the controversy, the show is accused of misrepresenting the Eelam Tamil community in Sri Lanka and the LTTE organization.
    After the backlash, Raj and DK released a statement that says that the assumptions have been made just based on a few shots in the trailer and they have utmost love and respect towards our Tamil people. In their statement, the directors of The Family Man 2, said, "Some assumptions and impressions have been made based on just a couple of shots in the trailer. Many of our lead cast members and key members of the creative & writing team are Tamilians. We are very cognizant of the sentiments of the Tamil people and Tamil culture and have nothing but the utmost love and respect towards our Tamil people. We have put in years of hard work into this show, and we have taken great pains to bring to our audiences a sensitive, balanced and riveting story - much like we did in Season 1 of the show. We request everyone to wait and watch the show when it releases. We know you'll appreciate it once you watch it."

    Now, the show is streaming online and people have been pouring in positive reviews for Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni’s performances but it has somewhere offended the Tamil people who are not in the favour of the show. There are some who even want the show to be banned. They said that the show is loaded with insults and insinuations against the Tamil culture which is why the web series is not acceptable to the community.

    E3 or Electronic Entertainment Expo is back after being on hiatus for a year and will kick off from June 12th to June 15th. This year’s event promises press conferences from some of the biggest gaming companies in the world. Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Ubisoft, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, Sega, Bandai Namco, and more are all set to announce new games and updates on titles each company has been working on. 
    The annual gaming conference will not have a physical event but will be hosted digitally by each company via live streams on YouTube, Twitch and E3’s web portal. The digital showcases will probably run over midnight for Indian gamers due to which you can expect a change in date for most of the conferences.

    On Sunday, June 14th, viewers can expect press conferences from Microsoft, Square Enix, Warner Bros. Games, and 24 Entertainment. Since the events will take place post-midnight, technically the events will be held on June 14th for the Indian audience. Microsoft will be hosting its showcase at 1:30 AM on June 15th while Square Enix will be hosting its event at 3:15 am on the same day. 

    June 14th, 2021 E3’s Monday will start broadcasting at 11: 30 pm Indian time. Capcom, Take-Two Interactive, Mythical Games, Freedom Games, Razer, and unannounced indie developers will have presentations throughout the day, going well over midnight.
