Netflix's latest offering in the serial killer genre is The Serpent, which follows the story of serial killer Charles Sobhraj. It has been a big hit with the masses. While this genre has a lot of options to choose from, here are 5 recommendations for you to stream in case you want some ‘thrilling’ aesthetics:

    1. MindhunterThis psychological crime series follows FBI agents Holden and Binch, who go that extra mile to understand the psyche of a criminal to finally catch him. Spread over 2 seasons, the show has some crazy good reviews, in case you still haven’t watched it.

    2. YouThis is a slightly ‘light’ serial killer drama on the list. The protagonist is a psychopath who is obsessed with the love of his life. The sinister ways that the lover uses will make you squirm. A fantastic binge watch suggestion for someone who likes to watch creepy lovers while eating their dinner.

    3. DexterThis show has a cult fan following so in case you haven’t stepped on this boat, do it now. Dexter follows a forensic lab technician who basically lives a dual life. He works in a lab during the day, and by the night he is a serial killer preying heinous perpetrators.

    4. The MentalistThis is a great watch for anyone with a keen eye for detail. If you enjoy solving mysteries and guessing killer names while watching a series, then follow this show which tells the tale of a young gentleman who joins hands with the authorities to catch killers.

    5. The JinxThis six- part documentary follows real estate heir Robert Durst, who was a prime suspect in the disappearance of his wife, and the murder of her friend. This show will make you believe that investigative journalism is not dead yet and how money and power can sometimes really conceal a serial killer.

Working from home for long hours, commuting amidst a pandemic, your mental health taking a toss, craving a break from work and dreaming of a holiday. Basically this sums up how all of our meticulous desires have swept by in 2021, as the year seems to be rolling in front of our eyes like a road roller on a road. As work crunch crushes our minds and getting a paid leave feels like a distant dream, a man in Taiwan probably got so frustrated that he decided to divert all his energy into using it in exploiting the labour laws over there. The man in question married the same woman four times and divorced her thrice, all in a span of 37 days. Why did he do that, you ask? Well, he wanted to avail the 8-day paid leave policy and enjoy an extended break from work!
    © Pexels
Well, this seems like a weird plan and soon, his plans were poured down the drains of disappointment after his employers realised that something was fishy and decided to not grant him the said leave. Well, that didn’t stop him from doing whatever it takes to get his ‘me time’. Spotting a loophole in the labour laws, he decided to file a complaint and report his employers to Taipei City Labour Bureau and accused the bank of not allowing him leaves and exploiting the labour law rules which apply to him. The law states that an employee is eligible for a 8 day leave on getting married. So not only did he end up with a wife and a long paid leave, he also ended up slapping a fine on the company for around Rs 52000. Well, not to give anyone any ideas, but on a serious note, the pandemic has actually pushed people’s buttons and everyone is basically in a mulligatawny soup, just sailing in life, feeling tasteless and bland. If you do feel the burnout, make sure you reach out to someone for help, take a break from your company and spend some time recuperating.

Things are really starting to get serious.

After experiencing a glimmer of hope in the name of normalcy being restored to the exhausted citizens of India, the sudden astronomical rise in Coronavirus cases across the country has sent us back to the gloomy early months of 2020.
    © PTI
Thanks to the Tsunami of a second wave of Covid-19 on Indian shores, the country on Thursday (April 15) registered 2,00,739 fresh cases of the virus in the last 24 hours.

It was a record high since the beginning of the pandemic and has forced major cities across the country to impose different curfews in order to curb the spread.
Now, at a time when people might be forced to become anti-social again and live within the confines of their four walls, there is definitely a need for the nation and state heads to keep a cool mind and restore some confidence back with the citizens with their actions.
However, one person that you can count out of that list is Madhya Pradesh minister Prem Singh Patel, who on Thursday shocked viewers when he said that "No one can stop corona deaths, People get old and have to die".
As per a Free Press Journal report, the minister was handed the charge of overseeing the Covid-19-related arrangements in a district by Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday (April 13).
However, when Patel was asked to respond to a question on there being an increase in the Covid-related deaths while speaking with ANI, he said,
"I agree that these deaths have occurred. No one can stop them (Covid-19 deaths). I am not the only one saying this. We have to cooperate (to fight the virus),"
"People should consult doctors. We have arranged for doctors as well,"
"You said that many people are dying every day. As far as deaths are concerned, with age people get old and they die."
#WATCH: MP Minister Prem Singh Patel speaks on deaths due to #COVID19. He says, "Nobody can stop these deaths. Everyone is talking about cooperation for protection from Corona...You said that many people are dying every day. People get old and they have to die." (14.04.2021) pic.twitter.com/os3iILZGyM
    — ANI (@ANI) April 15, 2021
His comments sparked fury amongst citizens who now fear there being another 2020-like grave scenario.

Many took to Twitter to post their reactions on the comments of the Madhya Pradesh minister.
MP Minister: If ur govt can't stop deaths due to #COVID19 , then resign&let others take control of the situation. People die due to age in a natural way, not by getting infected with a virus, getting no treatment etc.All politicians are impotent in dealing with people's problems.
    — Raju (@nbrengaraju) April 15, 2021People don't have to die just because they don't have access to oxygen, ventilator, remdesivir. It's yours and government's responsibility.
Mujra Karne ke liye vote Nahi Diya h tum chintuo ko.
    — Puneet Arora (@Puneet__arora) April 15, 2021I am MP resident and these illiterate ministers of this state are like this only.
They only do politics here and people are fed up from them.
No development or employment there in this state becoz of these Ministers.
    — Subhash kumar singh (@ben10on10) April 15, 2021He is shameful and illiterate.

We have been electing such people to serve us. We are bound to die like this.
    — cow corner (@silly_point_) April 15, 2021Thanks to Covid-19, deeply-filled insensitivity towards common people is coming out.
    — Harshil હર્ષિલ (@MehHarshil) April 15, 2021Mr Singh Patel, the people who are dying are the very people who voted you into power. You are seated where you are today because of those people. Don't be comfortable & take your voters for granted, they will all come for you once they start suffering losses due to your failures
    — JA_Discoverer (@JA_Discoverer) April 15, 2021this is nothing but wishful thinking. such buffoons will continue cming to power. ppl have been brainwashed to the point that they will sacrifice their own wellbeing to safeguard their bigotry
    — Shifali (@shefazzle) April 15, 2021This is what happens when such type of people are in power. Sir, people are not dying because of old age, they are dying because they don't have access to oxygen ,ventilators and injections. Why are you not accepting that our system has failed completely to save lives
    — Sakshi Singh (@Sakshi_Singh21) April 15, 2021what gawaar mandali is governing this country!!
    — theBoyWonder (@calmnreddy) April 15, 2021These people are MPs. Embarassing.
    — Sidrah (@SidrahDP) April 15, 2021God bless the people who rallied and voted him to be their representative.
    — VayuPutr (@vikram254) April 15, 2021If ministers are saying that nobody can stop these deaths, then the govt. is of no use. Instead they should ensure adequate vaccines, remdesivir , oxygen supply throughout the state. Unfortunately they have left everything bhagwaan bharose.

As the second wave of the Coronavirus looks to wreak havoc on the country and once again destabilize the Indian economy which had just started showing signs of recovery, there is an urgent need for all to stay united and work with each other.

On Thursday (April 15), India recorded a staggering 2,00,739 fresh Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, a record high since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to reports, Maharashtra continues to stand as the worst-hit Indian state, recorded with a total of 765,094 cases recorded in the past fortnight.

Now, with the current Covid scenario beginning to overwhelm the public health and healthcare delivery systems in the state, the billionaire Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani, has taken a step forward in battling the virus outbreak.

According to reports, Reliance Industries Limited, which operates the world's biggest refining complex in Maharashtra, has started the supply of oxygen from Jamnagar in Gujarat to Maharashtra free of cost.

As per Eknath Shinde, the Urban Development Minister for Maharashtra, the state will receive around 100 tons of gas from Reliance.

According to a Reliance spokesperson, the oxygen streams, which were originally meant for the company's petroleum coke gasification units, will be diverted for medical purposes after it has been made suitable for such usage.
Mukesh Ambani has his residence as well as the headquarters of his company in India's financial capital of Mumbai, and his contribution to the fight against the virus was praised by many people, who took to Twitter to share their views.
    Let's applaud together for this.
    Thank you let's fight together.

Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali's appearances have gone under the radar, but never to his detriment. He has a massive fan following and despite the fact that he still hasn't ventured into Bollywood, his fans never fail to shower him with all the attention. Just recently, Ibrahim was seen flaunting his 8-pack abs wearing designer Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. As soon as the picture went live, the audience was in complete awe of Ibrahim's charismatic looks.

By this point, everyone knows that Ibrahim's sartorial game is quite notice-worthy. He has piqued our interest several times wearing sneakers that were a good lesson to understand the colour wheel and then again when he stepped out wearing playful blood-red pants.

He was seen at Mumbai airport yet again, as he was heading back home from a vacation with his family. While his whole outfit was super laid-back, the sneakers here were inarguably the best kind of pair to go with the look. Wondering which ones are these? Take a good look below.

    © Nike
Ibrahim can be seen wearing Nike Air Force 1 '07 sneakers. These sneakers come with a timeless design and simple colourways. The pair is made with white leather upper. Furthermore, it comes with a black swoosh and sits on the famous air-cushioned sole.

Coming to its price, these sneakers seem to be an affordable choice. These cost almost Rs 7,135, which isn't such a bad deal, given the number of expensive sneakers we have seen of late.
    © Viral Bhayani
As for the rest of the details, Ibrahim wore a basic black T-shirt again by Nike and coupled it with grey joggers. Now, this seems like a perfect outfit, especially when you are taking a long flight. A pair of joggers are quite a comfortable choice. The sneakers here added more appeal to his look, without a doubt. We also like the way he has used his headphones here. The subtle tone paired well with his look. That, with a printed mask, is a wise fashion choice.

In all, there's no doubt that Ibrahim can give some big celebrities a run for their money with his style statement. Way to go!
