However, recently, one Gurgaon dude took his PUBG fancy to new levels by scripting a PUBG-inspired advertisement looking for a potential flatmate in a posh Gurgaon locality. True, we look at numerous factors before deciding to move into a few flat, more so if it's a flat where you will be living with four or five other strangers. (c) Facebook Not only did the facilities and the offer catch people's attention with this ad, but people were also thoroughly impressed with how the guy had incorporated elements of PUBG into the advertisement, making it an instant hit with the players. Posted on a FB group called 'Flat and Flatmates', the dude listed out a number of crucial details for a potential flatmate calling their home the 'Battleground' and stating that there are no restrictions (such as muting the audio) for anyone looking to move-in. (c) PUBG People, especially gamers and fans, have responded positively to the creative ad. People have even gone on to call it one of the best ads on the group. What an innovative way of exploring the PUBG fever. We'd sure want to check out the place. What about you?

We all know Will Smith loves India and he proved that to us when he actually did come here to partake in the Leadership summit and also because he has a brief cameo in Karan Johar's 'Student of the year'. The 'Men In Black' actor is one of the finest in Hollywood and has an array of films under his belt that have done fairly well. © Instagram One of the main reasons he's liked so much by his fans is because he's one of the most grounded stars you'll ever come across. We saw that when he was in India, doing very Indian things. Like riding an auto in Mumbai, or chilling desi style or even doing a puja in Haridwar, because he can! The actor made a quick trip to Haridwar and Rishikesh and performed the rudrabhishek in Haridwar and participated in the Ganga Arti in Rishikesh. He also had a local Pandit read his horoscope. Smith said this experience was a great spiritual awakening for him. Why are we refreshing memories here? Because Smith recently shared his India sojourns on his Instagram account and it's quite endearing to read actually. He wrote: 'My Grandmother used to say, “God Teaches through Experience”. Facebook and Instagram users in India can now use licensed Indian music in their posts and videos, as the company has signed licensing deals with three of India's top music labels including T-Series, Zee Music Company and Yash Raj Films. Licensed music from these labels can be used in social experiences such as videos, messages, stories and other creative content on Facebook and Instagram. Facebook noted that the posts and videos, which users choose to share on the platform, can be made more meaningful and personal with music. © Instagram Thanks to this partnership, users can include their favorite tracks from popular Bollywood films including the latest hits like Apna Time Aayega from 'Gully Boy', Aankh Marey from 'Simmba', Swag Se Swagat from 'Tiger Zinda Hai', as well as regional hits like Lahore by Guru Randhawa, Zingaat from 'Sairat' plus old classics like Bas Ek Sanam Chaahiye from 'Aashiqui'. Commenting on the partnership, Facebook India's Director and Head of Partnerships, Manish Chopra said, “Music has always been a powerful medium of expression. We are excited about partnering with the music industry in India and the idea that people here will be now be able to include music in their videos on Facebook and Instagram, opening up more options for more ways to express and sharing memories with friends and family.” Facebook signed its first ever music label deal in December of 2017 with Universal Music Group, and the company now has licensing partnerships with different labels across 40 countries.

Apart from earning a livelihood and protecting their families, these hopeful young men also told ANI that getting hired would also give them the opportunities to share their side of the story with the rest of the country, raise awareness and sensitise fellow Indians about the crisis in the Kashmir valley. © ANI "We cannot go outside Kashmir. This is a great opportunity for us. We wish that more vacancies are offered to us. In what turned out to be one of the deadliest terror strikes in recent times, a 20-year-old suicide bomber from Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) sent India and a billion citizens into a state of mourning after carrying out a ghastly strike that led to the demise of more than 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans in the Awantipora town of the Pulwama district, on 14th February 2019. While the horrendous attack has disrupted peace in the country, at the same time, it has united India against the common evil of terrorism. Amid the ever-growing calls for revenge, there has been continuous support for the grieving families who lost their loved ones in Pulwama. While Amitabh Bachchan has announced a donation of Rs 5 lakh each for the families of the slain CRPF jawans, Virender Sehwag offered educational support to their children. Joining the burgeoning list of benefactors, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan also came forward to aid the troubled families as a mark of respect for the Indian soldiers. Taking to Facebook, Dhawan shared an emotional video where he was seen praising the CRPF martyrs for laying down their lives for the country. He also vowed to make a donation for the victims and their families while urging others to join the humanitarian cause. Apart from Dhawan, Faiz Fazal-led Vidarbha also made a heartfelt gesture towards the families of the martyrs by donating their prize money after winning the Irani Cup following their triumph over Rest of India.

I was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in my right breast with high grade malignant cells. Simply put stage 0 cancer/ pre-cancerous stage, with cancer cells multiplying in a contained area. The result I have become a half Indian version of Angelina Jolie (since only one breast was involved)! I told my doctor now is the time to give some competition to the Kardashians since Pamela is passé. But no one listened to me, so now I have a portion of my back tissue in my breast. Perhaps now I can do chin-ups with my breasts! Jokes apart, this obstacle has given me a new definition of life. Respect it's unpredictability and have the faith and courage to be the hero of your own drama of life. The invincible human spirit is God like, gives you the courage to endure and the will to revive. There is nothing that human spirit can't do. Also I want women of all ages to be aware. I am 35, and I was returned twice over from a mammogram. If any symptoms come up, think of it as a protective force and get yourselves examined. Also we are so obsessed with boobs. This mastectomy has left me with even more self love! Big, small, left or right inclined , gravity pulling or defying, or even none, each breast the presence or lack of it has a story to tell. Mine has made me a 2.0 version of myself! I feel like sometimes it's a cycle… one that starts off with physical pain and leads to mental and emotional pain. The bad days have been many… Post chemo, post-surgery and the like… where even just laughing hurts. Sometimes it felt like it took everything I've had to push past it… a minute to minute battle with myself. I got through it knowing that even though I was fighting a long drawn out, draining battle… it was one that was worth the fight. It's important to remember that we're allowed to have those bad days. Forcing yourself to be happy and cheerful all the time serves no purpose. Who are we being fake and putting on an act for? I allowed myself to cry, to feel the pain, to indulge in self-pity… for a short while. Only you know what you're going through and it is fine to accept it. Emotions aren't wrong. Feeling negative emotions isn't wrong. But after a point, identify it, recognize it and refuse to let it control your life. It takes an immense amount of self-care to get out of that zone. Sleep always helps, or having my favourite smoothie after chemo, or just talking to my son. For now, as my treatment continues… my visual focus remains to just get better and get back home. The wedding of the year is FINALLY happening in a few hours and while our excitement knows no bounds, there is also a sense of disappointment among most fans, as the couple continues to be secretive about their wedding. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be getting married today in Italy in a traditional Konkani ceremony and then will have a Sindhi wedding tomorrow i.e. November 15, 2018. I am performing with Harshdeep Kaur along with Bobby Pathak and Firoz Khan." Whatever the purpose of a community - be it customer support, fan engagement, interest-based groups and so on - there's usually a need for site staff to communicate important information to users. Of course, in some cases this information is best suited to a site announcement, which by design has a lot of visibility and authority. But it's important that day to day staff posts stand out too. As we'll discuss in future articles, a key part of engagement is that users see your organization's team interacting with the community. In many cases, users will expect and appreciate acknowledgement from your community team, and by highlighting those responses you can add a visible stamp of authority. Invision Community has a few different tools to help you highlight staff posts, so let's take a look at them in more detail. Group badges With group badges you can upload a small image that is shown beside a user's posts. It's shown alongside the user's group name, so you don't need to repeat that text. Each group can have a different badge, perfect for communities that structure their staff groups based on role type. It's common to color-code group badges for easier identification - support as green, product development as blue, and so on (and you may want to coordinate these colors with the prefix and suffix you use, which we cover later in this article). It's not just staff groups that can have badges, either; your regular member groups can too. However, a word of caution! If every group has a badge, they may lose their distinctiveness. We recommend reserving group badges for those groups you specifically want to draw attention to. Post highlights Second is a feature more explicitly designed to highlight a post rather than simply draw attention to the author. Group settings in Invision Community enable you to choose to have posts by users in each group show with a distinctive background color and border. The color is defined by your theme and so is easily configurable, too. As with group badges, it may be tempting to highlight every group's content, but we recommend not doing so as that reduces the overall impact of the feature. Keep it reserved for your key staff groups, and especially those that regularly interact with the community. Group prefix/suffix Invision Community allows you to define a custom prefix and suffix for each group. This is used in key locations, including to highlight usernames in the Active User block and to style member group names alongside content. An important part of this feature is that it accepts HTML tags, which gives you a lot of scope for customizing the display by adding an opening and closing HTML tag to the prefix and suffix settings, respectively. For example, let's say we want to add a shield icon before the name, and make the text purple. Prefix: <span style='color: #9013FE'><i class='fa fa-shield'></i> Suffix: </span> Simple! Now our staff members will display in the Active User block and elsewhere like this: Bonus feature: Staff activity streams I wanted to also mention a feature that achieves a slightly different goal to those we covered above, but nonetheless is an important way to bring additional visibility to staff content: activity streams. As well as an overall “All Activity” stream that shows everything happening in the community, Invision Community allows you to define pre-made streams that are available to all users. You can use this to build streams of content with particular tags, certain types of content - or, as in this case, content by users in specific groups. Simply create a new activity stream in the Admin Control Panel, set the configuration so that it only pulls content from members in your staff groups, and you're done. Users will now be able to visit the stream page to get a handy overview of everything staff members are doing in your community. I recommend checking out the other filter options available for streams while you're setting this up - there's a huge amount of power available! When users visit your community, they're usually looking for authoritative information and that often comes right from your own team. By utilizing the features we've discussed here, you can make that information stand out more against the other content in your community.
