English: Prophet Yaqub (AS), known as Jacob in the Bible, was a great prophet of Allah, the son of Prophet Ishaq (AS), and the grandson of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). He is one of the central figures in the lineage of Bani Israel and the father of Prophet Yusuf (AS).

اردو: حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام اللہ کے عظیم نبی تھے، آپ حضرت اسحاق علیہ السلام کے بیٹے اور حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پوتے تھے۔ آپ بنی اسرائیل کے اہم ترین انبیاء میں سے ایک ہیں اور حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام کے والد ہیں۔

اردو: اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام کو ایک پاکیزہ نبوی سلسلے میں پیدا فرمایا۔ آپ کے والد حضرت اسحاق علیہ السلام اور دادا حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام دونوں اللہ کے عظیم پیغمبر تھے۔

💔 3. Trial of Separation – Prophet Yusuf (AS) / حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام کا صبر آزما واقعہ

English: The greatest test in Prophet Yaqub’s (AS) life was the separation from his beloved son Prophet Yusuf (AS). His other sons deceived him and told him Yusuf had been lost. Yaqub (AS) responded with patience and said:

“Beautiful patience (Sabr Jameel), and Allah is the One sought for help.”

اردو: حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام کی زندگی کا سب سے بڑا امتحان حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام کی جدائی تھا۔ ان کے دوسرے بیٹوں نے دھوکہ دیا اور کہا کہ یوسف کھو گئے ہیں۔ اس پر آپ نے فرمایا:

“صبر جمیل ہے اور اللہ ہی مدد کرنے والا ہے۔”

Arabic: فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ وَاللَّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ

اردو: حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام کو اللہ نے گہری بصیرت اور مضبوط ایمان عطا فرمایا تھا۔ وہ دل سے جانتے تھے کہ حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام زندہ ہیں، لیکن انہوں نے کبھی اللہ سے شکایت نہیں کی بلکہ صبر اور دعا جاری رکھی۔

English: Prophet Yaqub (AS) had twelve sons, who later became the tribes of Bani Israel. Among them was Prophet Yusuf (AS), who became one of the most beloved prophets of Allah.

اردو: حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام کے بارہ بیٹے تھے جن سے بنی اسرائیل کے بارہ قبائل وجود میں آئے۔ ان میں حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام بھی شامل تھے جو اللہ کے محبوب نبی بنے۔

English: After years of separation, Allah reunited Prophet Yaqub (AS) with Prophet Yusuf (AS). This reunion brought immense joy and proved that Allah never wastes the patience of His believers.

اردو: کئی سالوں کے بعد اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام کو حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام سے ملا دیا۔ یہ ملاقات بے حد خوشی کا سبب بنی اور ثابت کیا کہ اللہ صبر کرنے والوں کا اجر ضائع نہیں کرتا۔

ENGLISH:

Prophet Yaqub (AS) was a symbol of patience, faith, and trust in Allah. He lived a life full of trials, especially the separation from Yusuf (AS), yet he never lost hope in Allah’s mercy.

He continued to worship Allah, cry in private, and remain hopeful. His grief was deep, but his faith was deeper. Allah honored him by eventually reuniting him with Yusuf (AS), showing that divine timing is always perfect.

He also played a major role in shaping the spiritual foundation of Bani Israel. Through his descendants came many prophets who guided humanity.

His life teaches that true faith means patience in hardship and gratitude in ease.

حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام صبر، ایمان اور اللہ پر بھروسے کی عظیم مثال ہیں۔ آپ کی زندگی آزمائشوں سے بھری ہوئی تھی، خاص طور پر حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام کی جدائی، لیکن آپ نے کبھی اللہ کی رحمت سے امید نہیں توڑی۔

آپ نے عبادت جاری رکھی، تنہائی میں روتے رہے مگر اللہ سے امید قائم رکھی۔ ان کا غم بہت گہرا تھا مگر ان کا ایمان اس سے بھی زیادہ مضبوط تھا۔ آخرکار اللہ نے انہیں حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام سے ملا دیا۔

آپ کی نسل سے بنی اسرائیل میں کئی انبیاء آئے جنہوں نے لوگوں کی رہنمائی کی۔

آپ کی زندگی ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ اصل ایمان مشکل وقت میں صبر اور آسانی میں شکر ہے۔
