Regarding the petitioner in the case, Hanif Abbasi, the report claims that his allegations aim to malign the party. The petitioner did not submit any concrete evidence to prove his case, states the reply.

Moreover, the reply also mentions that the petitioner claimed that PTI received funds from non-Muslims and foreign sources. These allegations by the petitioner seek to batter the minority community of the country. Minorities have played an integral role in Pakistan?s progress. Our constitution does not discriminate between Muslims and non-Muslims, the reply added.

The petitioner, Hanif Abbasi, who is affiliated with PML-N, had filed a petition claiming that the PTI chief should be disqualified for concealing his assets and receiving foreign funding.
