Until now, the feature has just been a topic of discussion amongst analysts and leakers, but recent images shared by Slashleaks has solidified our beliefs. </p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2">The image shared recently shows off a component that will provide the ability to share the device wirelessly. The device's charging coil is clearly visible in the picture and it is meant to be used for inductive charging. </p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2"> </p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="(c) Weibo" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/image-2-weibo-1501309463.jpg" alt="(c) Weibo" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/image-2-weibo-1501309463.jpg" />(c) Weibo</p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2">The device pictured is apparently meant for the iPhone and it is not yet known if it will be under the hood of the iPhone or if it will function as a separate charging pad. The device looks like it will probably be a part of the iPhone as there's even a port that is supposed to be a female lightning socket. Having a female lightning port strongly indicates that this may be a new feature on the iPhone 8. </p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2">The image does not show any other information about the module apart from some text that has been blurred out. As some information has been withheld, one can assume that this leak either comes from a third-party manufacturer or directly from Apple. </p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2"> </p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="(c) Slashleaks" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/image-3-slash-leaks-1501309494.jpg" alt="(c) Slashleaks" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/image-3-slash-leaks-1501309494.jpg" />(c) Slashleaks</p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2">The iPhone 8 is expected to have a larger L-shaped battery design which could be charged via an inductive wireless charging pad. It is also rumoured that the iPhone 8 will come with a USB-C to lightning fast charging cable that will probably quicken the charge time on the larger battery. </p> <p class="m_7210158555480712540m_-295801136872325463m_-8330755552881443357gmail-p2">As is the case with every rumour and leak, this is just speculation and nothing can be said for certain until the official launch of the iPhone 8. The device is expected to have an OLED screen and Touch ID embedded underneath it. The new iPhones will be revealed in September and we can only be certain about these rumours once Apple makes them official. </p>
