Former AGP Akhtar Buland Rana ISLAMABAD: Former auditor general of Pakistan Akhtar Buland Rana was taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday.
Senior Civil Judge Shabbar Bhatti sentenced Rana six months imprisonment for concealing his Canadian citizenship.
An FIR had been registered against Rana earlier on the complaint of the FIA for not declaring his Canadian passport.
Rana was sacked in May 2015 after the Supreme Judicial Council found him guilty of misconduct, according to reports.
