Coffee Santhe Is Back With Its Third Edition In Bangalore


All you coffee lovers should mark your calendars as Coffee Santhe is coming back for a third edition. Happening in Bangalore from 2nd to 4th December, Coffee Santhe is an annual fundraising event organized by the Women’s Coffee Alliance in an initiative to empower women coffee plantation workers.

Coffee Santhe will be packed with exciting activities like unveiling of new blends and brands, showcase of equipment, coffee artistry, some new and interesting brewing trends, and Women’s Barista Championship. Along with handcrafted coffee, games, and prizes, there will also be lots of good music and entertainment by some India's finest like salsa by the famous Lourde Vijay or interactive traditional dances with the expressive Padmini Ravi.

Filled with aromatic coffee and an array of fun activities, the Coffee Santh is also for a good cause and will take forward various initiatives such as:

• Nayan Tara: Education of girl children of women coffee plantation workers in the coffee growing regions of Bababudan, Chikmagalur, Coorg, Biligiris and Sakleshpur.

• Su Prana: Health Camps conducted in the coffee growing regions of India. These camps help in awareness and health enhancement for Indian women coffee plantation workers and their girl children.

• Kushal Maya: Medical Health Insurance Scheme for families of the girl children under ‘Nayan Tara’ project.

• Aa Haar: Distribution of eggs as a protein supplement to families of women coffee plantation workers.
