ISLAMABAD: A delegation of over two hundred young students from various educational institutions of Pakistan visited Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) on Tuesday as part of ongoing annual internship program by the Pakistan Army's Inter-Services Public Relations wing.

According to a handout issued by the ISPR, students were given a tour highlighting the production potential of the defence industry.

Chairman HIT, Lt Gen Naeem Ashraf also interacted with the students and highlighted contributions of HIT towards self-reliance in defence equipment.

During the visit, students showed a keen interest and asked questions related to defence capabilities of Pakistan vis a vis existing and emerging security challenges, the ISPR statement concluded.
