‘Pink’, the movie which touched the hearts of everyone and sparked a sort of societal awakening, is crossing borders and making waves every where. The critically acclaimed movie has been selected for a special screening at the UN headquarters in New York and the film fraternity cannot stop gushing over this achievement. The movie made a huge impact in the country as it pressed a major point about accepting ‘no’ as an answer from a woman, and respecting the meaning of what ‘consent’ actually meant. B-town needs to churn more movies like these which not only have left an impact, but have also educated the society for our own sanity. The movie starred Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles and was produced by ace filmmaker Shoojit Sircar.
