Constitution does not allow criticism on army, judiciary: Qureshi

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Saturday that the constitution prohibits people from criticising members of the judiciary and armed forces.
Speaking to journalists he said that any person who is criticising the armed forces and judiciary of the country must review his/her action. The PTI leader called Supreme Court?s decision on Panama case, ?historic?.
?Every political party supports democracy in the country and accountability will further strengthen it,? he said. ?The country will emerge stronger after getting rid of corrupt elements.?
Qureshi said that he had already predicted earlier that 45-day tenure premier cannot appoint 47-member cabinet; he will remain Prime Minister for next 10 months.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif was not nominated for prime minister`s position because of NAB references against him and secondly, with him becoming prime minister, a race would have started within the party to become CM Punjab.
Qureshi claimed that Shehbaz Sharif wanted his son, Hamza Shehbaz, to become CM Punjab ? however, the Nawaz?s camp within the PML-N did not agree with the proposal.
