Tennis star Aisam ul Haq ? in an exclusive video message for Geo News ahead of Pakistan's 70th Independence Day ? expressed his best wishes for the entire nation.

"I wish the entire Pakistani nation a very happy 70th Independence Day," Haq said.

"I feel very blessed and honoured and happy to be representing my country for the last twenty years in the ATP International Tennis Tour," he said. "Whenever Pakistan flag is raised or national anthem is played because of me, it is a surreal feeling that can't be described in words."

He said he was very proud to be a Pakistani and hopes to make the country and nation proud, ending the video message with "Pakistan  Zindabad."
