RAWALPINDI: An employee of Rawalpindi waste management was killed and another injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them on Data Ganj Bakhsh Road on Friday.

Another employee ran away from the site and remained unharmed during the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Karamat, while the injured as Sagheer.

According to Sadiqabad police, the eye witnesses informed them that three employees of waste management were busy cleaning the road when unidentified men on motorcycles opened fire on them.

Deceased?s body has been shifted to hospital for post mortem, while doctors at Benazir Bhutto Hospital are treating Sagheer.
