    Police detain suspects looting citizens coming to buy sacrificial animals in Karachi

    KARACHI: Four suspects were taken into police custody during a search operation carried out near Bakra Piri near the metropolis' Malir locale, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)-Malir Rao Anwar said.

    The police officer explained that the detained suspects were arrested while they were looting citizens coming to Bakra Piri to buy sacrificial animals ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

    Weapons, mobile phones, and cash were recovered from the arrestees, Anwar added.
