Rains Have Managed To Wash Away Everything Except The Spirit Of Mumbai

The force of Mother Nature is stronger than any force here. It is believed that most natural disasters are actually Nature's way of balancing the cruel acts of humans which have given rise to major issues like global warming, and the rising level of the oceans. However, when calamity strikes, we don't calculate how it happened, but how we can overcome and survive it.

The rains are washing up everything in Mumbai right now. Life has come to a steering, sudden halt. But you know what has not gone down? The spirit of Mumbai and its beautiful people who are fighting all odds to survive this, together. While the news about people starving and food rotting is disheartening, on the other hand, Mumbai city has set up a stellar example about the power of unity. People have opened the doors of their hearts and homes to welcome and help anyone and everyone stuck on the road.

The gurudwaras in Mumbai urged anyone and everyone to take shelter and with food and a sound sleep, was  pure ‘seva' in the form of love for humanity.

Even commercial cab companies forgot about making money and came forward to offer shuttle in every form. Not to forget the BEST buses, proving why they are actually the best.

Every day we read and instances where we wonder if humanity is dying but Mumbai people are proving that love and brotherhood is thicker than blood. Please take out time to pray for our brave Mumbaikars, may they endure everything calmly and come out stronger.
