Fire breaks out at factory in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: A fire erupted in a power loom factory in the industrial town of Faisalabad on Sunday, Geo News reported.
Rescue workers said the blaze caused the roof of the factory to collapse.
In Karachi, a fire had broken out late Thursday night at a shoe factory in SITE area which was doused after 17 hours.
A few workers in the factory had allegedly set fire to a chemical drum? leading to the blaze?following an altercation with the accounts department over payment of salary, Chief Fire Officer Tehseen Siddiqui claimed.
