ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed its annoyance at Director-General National Accountability Bureau (NAB)?s performance, saying the bureau has never completed inquiry in any case in six months.

Justice Faez Isa and Justice Dost Muhammad said this in a hearing held in a case against former Balochistan Food Minister Asfandyar Kakar, whose bail application was approved today.

?Naeem Mangi was facing inquiries till yesterday; now he has become a hero,? said Justice Dost Mohammad.

?How about we make him [Mangi] a suspect in the case,? he added.

A three-member bench heard the case against Kakar, who has has been alleged to be involved in corruption worth Rs2 billion and disappearance of five million sacks of wheat during his term in the previous government's tenure.
