Emraan Hashmi has always been in an envelope of sorts. Of classic fashion, B-Town style staples, easy-to-wear pieces and not to forget...hundreds of cinematic kisses. Shunning salival references and digging deep into his style, let's just say—he's never had a try-hard sartorial moment, till now. He throws on apparel so effortlessly well but without looking like he's rolling in bed. And that's exactly what separates him from a league of terribly-dressed Indian actors, who we're absolutely not naming here.

So here's the thing: just yesterday at the Otter's club in Mumbai, Mr. Hashmi delivered another pro-class on being a menswear maven with simple, off-the-rack casual wear. But this time, the lesson was on apparel fits and how they're imperative to striking a visual balance.

For most men who live by the T-shirt+jeans combo, it's all about buying the right-fitted piece. But sometimes, they mistake right-fitted for a skinny fit. Or a relaxed fit all-over. We men are such polarising animals, you see? Our suggestion: break up the fits of your overall outfit to avoid looking like a hillbilly (alternatively, Yash Birla) and always flatter your body type right.

Notice how Mr. Hashmi's T-shirt is neither muscle-tee-tight nor hanging around like a fruit on a tree. It's fitting him right on the abs, chest and with minimal gathers on the sleeves. Even the jeans...they're slightly relaxed but haven't reached pyjama-level yet. Plus, he's throw in a quick fold at the bottom, creating a base for his comfortable and easy-to-pair casual leather slip ons.

The other benefit of this outfit that he's clearly enjoying, is that it's his way of being at complete ease but while being appropriately-dressed for one of Mumbai's most premium clubs. Smart, simple but terrific move, we'd say!
